EX-FIREMAN’S FUNERAL
LATE MR. H. BOREHAM The funeral of Mr. H. Bo reham an ex-member of the Mount Albert Fire Brigade, who died last Sunday after a long illness, took place yesterday at Waikumete Cemetery. There were many beautiful wreaths, including those sent by the waterside workers and the Mount Albert brigade. Members of the Mount Albert Brigade took part in the procession, and the Rev. Father Gondringer officiated at the graveside. The late Mr. Boreham was a son of Mr. C. Boreham, of Paparoa, a veteran fireman who was a member of the first band of fire-fighters in Auckland. A son of the deceased, Mr. R. Boreham, is a member of the Mount Albert Brigade.
