YORKSHIRE MATCH ABANDONED
TOO MUCH RAIN By Cable.—Press Association.—Copyright LONDON, Tuesday. TO-DAY the cricket game between New Zealand and Yorkshire had to be abandoned, as the pitch was under water when play should have resumed this morning. Yorkshire’s first innings had yielded 377 runs, and New Zealand had lost seven wickets for 133. A three-day match against Notts commences on Wednesday.
