A SIXTY-FOOT FALL
MAN SLIPS ON HILLSIDE (From Our Oicn Correspondent.) OHAKUNE, To-day. While engaged in excavation work in connection with the erection of a bridge at Vile’s Mill, Parapara Road, on Saturday, Mr. A. Burling had the misfortune to slip on a hill face and fall a distance of 60ft into the river. Fortunately at this spot the water was shallow and he was able to scramble out. In falling, Burling received injuries to his wrist and a broken rib.
