NEW CONGREGATIONAL HALL
FOUNDATION ON SATURDAY
The laying of the foundation stone of the new school hall, connected with the Beresford Street Congregational Church, will be laid at 3 p.m. next Saturday.
The improvements to be effected, of which the hall will be the principal, will be in brick or concrete, and will cost in the vicinity of £4,000. The hall, in brick, will accommodate about 500 and will be joined by the old buildings, which are to be remodelled. A concrete drive is to be put right through the grounds.
