TARANAKI OILFIELDS REPORT.— The Waiapu No. 2 well is drilled to 1.565 feet, with ten-inch casing to 1,818 feet. A hard band of shale at 1,850 feet retarded progress. The GTsborne No. 1 well rigging is up: the buUwork is delayed by had weather.
