“The Telephone Girl" is Paramount s version of William C. De Mille’s stage success “The Woman.” Herbert Brenon, a man who knows directing as few others won the enviable task of bringing the play to cinema audiences. Holbrook Blinn, Madge Bellamy. Warner Baxter May Allison and Lawrence E?ay kre featured. The story is a tale of politics. It tells how one man almost attained the heights, was about to be forced down and then through the artifice of a young telephone girl, finally triumphed. All this is told with infinite artistry and dramatic intensity.
