“OH, BABY!”
FOR PRINCESS AND TIVOLI “Oh Baby!” the Universal-Jewel production will have its premiere at the Princess and Tivoli Theatres starting on Thursday. This is the film in which little Billy a new screen comedian makes his bow. Little Billy as his name suggests is a diminutive gentleman measuring in fact 40 inches In height in spite of the fact that he has already attained the age of 28. This small player is well known on the vaudeville stage all over America, where he has been featured in many theatrical attractions. Madge Kennedy, popular comedienne of the footlights and silver sheet, is the leading woman in “Oh, Baby!” Theatregoers were enthusiastic over her last two stage vehicles, “Poppy” and “Beware of Widows,” while picture fans saw her most recently in “Lying Wives” and “Bad Company.” Creighton Hale, another member of the cast, has recently scored with Marion Davies in “Beverley of Craustark.’ 41 * Ethel Shannon, David Butler, and Flora Finch are others featured in “Oh, Baby!” The picture has been directed by Harley Knoles who also wrote the story. The plot is an interesting one, with many moments of spontaneous comedy and several distinctly original twists.
