Miss Beatty May Beatty, who is the wife of the late Edward Lauri, holds an unrivalled place in the affections of New Zealanders. It is rather a coincidence that her last Australian appearance was in ‘‘Lady Be Good,” now playing in Auckland. Madame Parke was her creation. The comedienne returns to the Williamson banner.
