COTTON SEED DESTROYED EFFECT ON NEXT YEAR’S CROP By Cable.—Press Association.—Copyright Reed. 1.5 p.m. BRISBANE, To-day. Fire in a cotton ginnery at Rockhampton destroyed a storage shed containing 3,000,0001 b. of seed valued at £15,000, and two hundred bales of lint worth £5,000. The seed destroyed represented the bulk of the supply for next year’s crop.—A. and N.Z.
