Rangitikei Stands by Mr Glenn
POLITICAL INDEPENDENCE REFORM PRINCIPLES HELD Press Association. MARTON, To-day. MEETING of representatives ot the Reform Party committees from all parts of the Rangitikei last evening endorsed the action of Mr. W. S. Glenn in resigning his position as junior Government whip in order to obtain greater freedom within the House. The following resolution was carried unanimously:— “That this meeting of delegates of various committees in the Rangitikei electorate desires to place on record its appreciation of the good work done by Mr. Glenn during the last eight years, and to assure him of their complete confidence in him, believing that he will act in the best interests of the electorate and the party.” Mr. Glenn stated that he still win adhere to Reform principles and would not oppose: the Government in a no= confidence motion.
