The congress of the International Chambers of Commerce unanimously adopted a resolution advocating the lowering of the tariff barriers and more equitable treatment for foreigners, . Sir Arthur Saiter. director of the economic and finance section of the League of Nations, gave an address on how best to derive practical results from the Economic Conference. He said the League .above all wanted a commercial push of officia. forces without which the League could not advance. He said the support of the Belgian.
