Kauri Gum Markets. —The arrival, of kauri gum in Auckland for th, month of June are recorded at 35» tons. Though registering an increast on previous months, the extra gym handled is largely accounted for bj the fact that a new company hai commenced operations in the North, and. bv buying near to Auckland, ha, the gurn sent into this port for tray, shipment to its northern factory. Th, prepared product is then forwarded to Auckland for export. Thus por. tion of the output is registered twlc in the arrivals. The market con. tinues weak and depressed, and though a fair sale of rescraped gum was put through recently, difficulty was expertenced through the buyers trying to shuffle out of the contract.
