BETTER PROSPECTS OVERSEAS
CONTINENTAL GLUT DECREASES By Cable. —Press Association. —Copyright LONDON, Sunday. The demand for Australian and New Zealand butter has been somewhat dull during the last few weeks, and prices eased a few shillings. This was •to be expected, as the Continental output had reached its highest point, and the English supply was also very heavy. Now there are signs of the Continental glut diminishing, and the English output lessening, so a better inquiry for colonial butter is becoming apparent, and the market closes with a steady consumptive demand all over the country. As Australian and New Zealand shipments on the way arc of small compass, the prospects for the future seem hopeful.—A. and N.Z.
