WELL-KNOWN BANKER
THE LATE MR. P. H. COX DEATH IN CHRISTCHURCH (Special to THE SUN.) CHRISTCHURCH, Sunday. The death occurred to-day of Mr. Percy H. Cox, of Wellington, elder son of the late Mr. Percy Cox, of Christchurch, following on an operation. The late Mr. Cox, who retired two years ago from the position of chief inspector for New Zealand of the Bank of Australasia, was a grandson of the late Bishop Harper. He was educated at Christ’s College. He was formerly noted as a footballer, athlete and tennis player. He leaves a widow, three daughters and six sons, all but two of whom live in Wellington.
