SUNDAY CONCERT
THE STRAND CROWDED Judging by the packed audience at the Strand last evening the Sunday concerts in that theatre have earned widespread popularity. Not only was the audience large; it was also enthusiastic. Many of the items on the programme were unique and the artists displayed remarkable versatility. Mr. Walter Smith’s orchestra has merit which is peculiarly its own, and its contributions were heartily applauded. Chief Puha, Dinah Greening, Florence Sutherland, Signor Zendorigo and Marjory Greening established themselves as warm favourites.
