WHAKAPARA BRIDGE Representations having been made direct to the Minister of Public Works, the Hon. K. S. Williams, relative to the delay in the construction of the new traffic bridge at Whakapara, Colonel Allen Bell, M.P., sent a telegram on Saturday to Mr. H. C. Hemphill, clerk to the Whangarei County Council, stating that the Minister had advised him that he hoped to have the new bridge open for traffic in a fortnisrh t.
