Nine Winners to Divide £lo
SUN FOOTBALL PRIZE LAST WEEK’S COMPETITION Two matches, which were included in last week's football competition, were not played on Saturday owing to unfavourable playing conditions. These two games have therefore been eliminated from the competition, and the winners decided on the remaining ten results. No fewer than nine competitors sent in correct coupons and the £lO prize will therefore be divided among the following:—Misses Ivy Priest, 4 Surrey Street, Grey Lynn; Roma Gardiner, 59 Belgium Street, City; R. E. Kelly, Robert Street, Ellerslie; and Messrs. H. F. Reeves, 37 Kelmarna Avenue, Herne Bay; R. Richards, 17 Paice Avenue, Dominion Road; C. C. Ansell, 16 Ring Terrace, Ponsonby; S. Webb, 605 Manukau Road, Epsom; A. Pade, 1 Sheridan Street, City; C. B. Minns, Church Street, Northcote. The usual £lO prize will be offered again this week, but owing to rearrangements necessitated by Saturday’s postponements, the full list of fixtures will not be available until after Wednesday night’s meeting of the Auckland Rugby League, and the coupon will not be published until Thursday evening.
