MEAT BOARD ELECTION
SIX NOMINATIONS THREE PRODUCERS’ MEMBERS Press Association. ' WELLINGTON, Friday. The following nominations for the three vacancies for producers’ representatives on the New Zealand Meat Producers’ Board have been received by the Returning Officer: Mr. H. D. Acland, Christchurch (sitting member); Mr. James Carr, Methven; Mr. J. O. Coop, Little River; Mr. J. S. Jessop, Wairoa (sitting member): Mr. Robert Latter. New Brighton, Christchurch; and Mr. Wiliam Perry, Masterton (sitting member). The election takes places on August 25, when the delegates who represent the various districts throughout the Dominion. and who constitute the electoral committee, will assemble in Wellington to consider the fifth annual report and statements of accounts of the board, and to elect the three producers’ representatives on the board. Nominations for the delegates to the electoral committee close at the board’s office on July 13, and a postal ballot will then be conducted among the sheepfarmers in the districts where the nominations exceed the number of delegates required.
