GRANTS FOR AUCKLAND (.THE SUN’S Parliamentary Reporter) WELLINGTON, Friday. One of the prominent items in U® Health estimates will be the Government contributions toward the Picket Society, and although several of last year’s grants for buildings not recur, the figure of approximately £25,000 spent in this direction la s ’- year will probably be reached when the Minister of Health brings down his estimates shortly. Of this amount £2,375 at least, pin* a refund of railway fares for nurses, will be devoted to Auckland. In te c: the Minister has given his assurance that no reduction will be effected.
