Place a dozen or so medium-sized sea-shells (pick pretty shapes and colours) in the bowl of a glass lamp They give a pretty appearance as w ell as collecting the sediment ot the oil. A severe paroxysm of coughing may be instantly relieved by taking: a talblespoon of glycerine in a glass o- not milk.
