AND AS FOR HOSIERY—
gINCE our stockings, like our gloves, are obliged to subordinate themselves to the rest of our delightful spring costumes, these two accessories have decided to join fashion forces. Generally, glove colours and those of hose will be chosen to harmonise with each other. All the natural beige tones that will be seqn so much in our spring hosiery, as well as a few of the grey tones of our hose will appear in paler shades for gloves. G unmetal, when it is in a sheer, chiffon-like silk will be a wonderful favourite throughout spring. Often as the hosiery prophets herald the return of the black stocking, it will be seen only on rare occasions. Greatly as it enhances the charm of a nicely fashioned limb . . . the limb must be nice indeed to dare the battery of eyes that the now almost unique black stocking attracts.
