“PETTICOAT LANE”
CONCLUDES TO-NIGHT The pageant, “Petticoat Lane, ’ which has been presented nightly during the past week at the clubhouse. Baysw'ater, will conclude this evening. The production is along lines similar to the successful Spanish Fiesta held some time ago, and the funds of the club should be benefited considerably. The interior of the clubhouse has been decorated to represent London’s famous Petticoat Lane. The street of small shops, with miscellaneous wares, is there, while gailydressed costermongers line the footpaths. Over doorways shingles are hung out, having humorous skits on local people. In addition, there is a “Haunted Castle,” complete with dark passages, clanking chains, and sinking floors. A free boat will be run to Baysvate* ,at 7.40 o’clock this evening.
