MOTOR OLYMPIA
OPENS NEXT SATURDAY
Auckland Olympia Motor Exhibition will be officially opened by the Mayor, Mr. G. Baildon, at 8 p.m. next Saturday, advises the executive of the Motor Trade Association, which promotes and conducts the motor show. The public will be admitted at 7 p.m., and is promised an exhibition not previously excelled in Auckland. Most of the stand-holders have new models just arrived, and nearly all of them are featuring certain models not previously exhibited in Auckland. Throughout the week following Saturday the show will be open from 10.30 a.m. to 10 p.m. On Monday next the sheds at Central Wharf will be available to exhibitors for the erection of stands,* decorating and lighting. The entrance will be between the sheds, and the trade has combined to make this impressive. The frame-work has been erected, and decorations and lights will be added during next week. A hundred new models will be on show, and the value of the exhibits will reach £IOO,OOO.
