KNOCK-OUT KELLY Ice skating and a boxer’s training camp scenes for Richar Dix’s newest Paramount starring picture, were “shot” at Lake Placid, New York, world-famous winter sports resort in the Adirondacks. In addition to the star, his leading woman Mary Brian, and Harry Gribbon, who has an important role in the picture, others participating in the healty outdoor life, were Larry McGrath, Billy Viderbeck, and four lesser pugilists. An important member of the troupe was Lassie, a ten year old dog. who acted as Dix’e friend and companion during the strenuous training scenes. “Knockout Reilly,” was adapted to the screen by Pierre Collings and Kenneth Raisbeck from the story. “The Hunch” by Albert Payson Terhune.
