A GHASTLY DEED
OFFICER BURNS FAMILY DEATH IN BLAZING VILLA Bp Coble.—Press Association..—Copyright Reed. 9.5 a.m. PARIS, Wednesday. In a villa near Tours, au officer, his wife, a maidservant, and two children were burned to death. The police found a quantity of petrol-soaked clothing. They suggest that the officer sprinkled the room with petrol, and shot himself, leaving his family imprisoned in the flames.— A. and N.Z.
