HUNTLY NEWS
The combined rail and* traffic bridge over the Waikato River at Huntly is at present undergoing an extensive overhaul. A large gang of the permanent bridge-building staff of the Railway Department is engaged on the work under the direction of the bridge inspector. A contract has been let by the Renown Collieries Company, at Waikokowai for the erection of a large workshop and store for that Arm’s business, and the work is to be pushed ahead immediately.
