Mr. E. L. Sturmfels, of Kaitaia, has established a new record in early production. Tie is now digging a splendid crop of early potatoes planted only ten weeks ago. They are “up-to-dates.” Mr. Sturmfels intends shipping his crop to Auckland and Southern towns. Captain Hector Macquarrie, of Pandora, has a considerable quantity of tomatoes ready for shipping, yet another tribute to the climate of the Winter Jess North.
