CAMP SITES WANTED Air. G. Al. Fowlds, president of the New Zealand Tourist League, pointed out to the Auckland Automobile Association that the Urewera country was likely to become a favourite trip for motorists, and he suggested that the association should push for the spending of some of the highways money on pushing the present road through to Waikaremoana, even if it might be regarded as purely for pleasure purposes. Mr. Fowlds. also suggested that the association might approach the Minister at this favourable stage and secure camping sites before the land was alienated. The roads committee was asked to report on the matter, several members considering that the time was opportune to secure camp sites.
