BETTER HOMES

Better homes are not limited to the lucky few. Every home, even the humblest little dwelling, can be brightened into a cheery home. It is the will to beautify a home, the determination to pluck out and destroy the things that can be cleared away to make room for beauty that is most important. A dirty, littered, ugly backyard in a row of sterile yards can be made to look like the desert. When all the rubbish is cleared away and the yard cleaned up, a few pot plants and staghorns, with a climbing plant, or a pot of grass can transform the place completely. No home need be ugly. A small bank account does net mean a small love of beauty. Be enthusiastic, and beauty will creep in unheard.
