THE LIPTON CUP

SATURDAY’S YACHTING ENTRIES AND HANDICAPS Ten boats, representing various Auckland clubs, will sail for the Lipton tup and the flag presented by H. Kirkham. esq., on Saturday. The race, which is the fifth on the Cruising Club’s programme, will start at 3 p.m. The course will be given to competitors at time of inspection of ballast. Competitors must report at St. Mary’s J* tty at'*l.3o p.m. for inspection. "VVatersails are not to be used. The following are the contestants Venus, representing Takapuna, the present holder; Rakoa, Richmond: Lucille. Point Chevalier; Valeria, Akarana; Kokiri, Victoria: Malua, Tamaki; Vanina IT., Devonport: Marie, Milford; Mowia, Manukau; and Huia, Ponaonby. Fairway men will change as follows: Venus with Rakoa, Varuna with Valeria, Kokiri with Lucille. Malua Yith Marie and Mowia with Huia.
