COASTAL MOVEMENTS— The Katoa expects to arrive here at 11 a.m. to-day and after discharge will proceed to Portland to load cement for New Plymouth, Wellington, and Lyttelton. The Whangape is expected to leave here to-morrow afternoon for Newcastle. The Kurow’s discharge has been delayed by rain and it is doubtful if she will be despatched to-morrow for southern ports. The Kaipoi left here last night for Portland, but is unable to discharge there to-day on account of rain. It is therefore doubtful whether she can leave Portland to-morrow for Noumea and Walpole Island. The Kartigi leaves Greymouth today for Westport, Napier, Gisborne. ; and Auckland. ; The Kanna is now discharging coal : at Tauranga and after completion will 1 proceed to Auckland to discharge the ? balance of her cargo.
