TOO MUCH TRAVEL
RUGBY DIFFICULTIES A WELLINGTON OPINION (From Our Resident Correspondent.) WELLINGTON, To-day. It is considered by Mr. J. Prendeville, chairman of the Management Committee o£ the Wellington Rugby Union, that the Wellington representative team should this year confine itself to the northern tour, and receive teams from the south. This view was expressed during a discussion on the allocation of games for the provincial team. They had had difficulty last year in getting players to travel, lie said, and this had something to do with the poor record which had been put up. The difficulty arose through many unions not travelling regularly, with the result that other unions got out of step with them, and this led to more matches
