Margaret Reilly Surgenor «sred 17 years, received injuries from which she succumbed at midnight on the same day. , , , The girl was crossing Cumberland Street near the Stuart Street intersection when she was knocked down by a motor-lorry owned and driven by J Cleary, marine storekeeper. It was apparent that the girl was badly injured and after being attended at the Central Fire Station she was conveyed to the hospital by the fat. John Ambulance. An inquest was opened at the hospital this morning, Mr. J. K. narthelomew, S.M.. sitting as coroner. Evidence of Identification was given bv Arthur Wimpenny, with whose firm. Wimpenny Bros, and Held the girl was employed as a store clerk The Inquest was then adjourned until Monday next.
