AUCKLANDER WINS

‘NOW OR NEVER” PRIZE OF £2OOO YACHTING ART UNION “It's going: to be a hard winter” — but not for Mr. H. Munro, an Epsom resident. Last night at the Auckland Chamber of Commerce, he drew first prize (£2,000) in the Tauranga Yacht Club's “Now or Never” Art Union. The first three prizes were drawn last night, the second and third going to Wellington and Christchurch residents respectively. Mr. Munro’s win is the first big art union prize which has come to Auckland for a considerable time.
