What’s become of the stage door “Johnnie?” If he does exist, it is probably only in the largest cities. Nowadays the chap who has a date to take a pretty actress or chorus girl out to a lobster supper usually drives up in his Rolls-Royce and waits until she trips forth. However, in “An Affair of the Follies” Lloyd Hughes, featured in this First National picture with Lewis Stone and Billie Dove, tries his best to get “back stage” at the Follies’ show, and is summarily discouraged by the door-tender.
