SPECIAL FUNERAL SERVICE.

These were followed by the clergy, four of whom acted as pall-bearers, while four others carried the heart. Last of all came the Catholic chiefs, the cut cellists of Vaea College. and the natives residing at. the Mission Mouse at Apia, all of whrun wore crape. Tin; armour of the deceased Bishop, as well as that of his successor, was draped ill black, and carried inn liately in front of the heart. On arrival at the Church at Apia a sermon was preached hv Bishop Lauuize. and the heart was (lien deposited in a niche in the wall of the Church.
