'• To His Excellency, " Coetlogan, " British Consul, " Apia. " Your Excellency.—We, the Chiefs and Knlors of the Sanioan (iovornment, This is our entreaties to your Excellency, that this day by thn decision of all Chiefs of Samoa, hnve elected in thn person of THs Roval Highness Maliotoa To'oa Mntaafn ns our King. And another matter which wo inform your Excellency that it has been decided by nil Samoa tlinf Tamaseto sball be removed from his nppointment as King ef Son on, and also Mr. Phm.U!-. v.1.0j. sneiikiuff with--0".i« r.;"hr-\ ■■■ j- <l r r.-»;ti«'S ,f Vamoail Government, is to bo removed this day.
