Tease (Hawera) 5 and 3 ii. the final of the South Taranaki women's golf championship at the Fairfield links yesterday. Mrs R. S. Ward (HaAvera) beat} Miss K. O’Sullivan (To Ngutu) 2 up in the final of the Fairfield Handicap. Boesch Defeats Dusek. Unleashing a terrific drop kick that connected Avith Dusek’s jaw while he Avas in full flight in a living tackle, Paul Boesch gained an equalising fall in the last round to boat Danny Dusek on points in a solid Avrcst-ling bout at Hawera last night. The match drew the largest crowd experienced at HaAvera this season amJ there were many present avlio considered Boesch lucky to win. Ball at Government House.
