Press Association —Copyright. Sydney, June 16. . At the wool sales to-day 8323 bales were offered and 5200 were sold. Privately 900 bales were sold. There was good competition, chtefly from the Continental and Yorkshire sections. The market was firm at yesterday's rates. Withdrawals were heavy owing to reserves. The Japanese again looked on without operating. Greasy Merino realised to 21d.
