OVER ONE THOUSAND ENTRIES. Midhirst's Butter: Pembroke's Ckeese. ONE AWARD TO STRATFORD 4 Hamilton, To-day. There were SOO entries in the butter section and 425 entries in the cheese section at the Waikato Winter Show, which will be opened Ly the Prime Minister (Mr. M. J. Savage) to-mor-row. The butter and cheese sections were judged by traders of the New Zealand Dairy Division, under Mr. W. Dempster, of Hamilton, the chief grader. Commenting on the butter section, the judges said: “An outstanding feature of the butter exhibits is the remaikable uniformity in the quality of the entries, Unifo. oity r ; a-n-au.nl and it is apparent that : ■:ls factor has been recognised and u effect to by exhibitors.” Principal awards were as follow: BUTTER.
