AFTER SIX WEEKS
Woman Found Alive On Bank Of Lake. A MOW ~ M-JJo ■ TERRIBLY EMACIATED. Press Association —Copyright. Sydney, May 10. Miss Eileen Winsome Crabbe, about 35 years of age, disappeared from her home at Cullaroy, north of Manly, six weeks ago. An intensive search was without result and relatives feared she had met her death.
A youth wandering to-day in the bush in the vicinity of Narrabeen Lake, three miles beyond Callaroy, saw what he thought was the body of a woman on the bank of the lake. He reported the matter to the police, who found the woman still alive.
She was terribly emaciated and her clothes were in tatters. She was unable to account for her movements. It is reported that she is a former New Zealander.
