The Sun-Hera4d says that Lady Houston has offered to salve and repair the Herzogin Ceciie at an estimated cost of £IO,OOO to £15,000 and present it to the nation as a naval training ship. The Herzogin Ceciie, a famous sailing ship, was recently wrecked on the Devonshire coast and the owners, after dismantling portions of it, riesraired of salving the vessel and left it to the mercy of the seas:. Lady Houston has figured in the news on many occasions for giving huge sums to the Treasury, always in connection with the defence of Britain.
