Hard Court Singles At Bournemouth. FLAWLESS GAME, Press Association--Copyright. London, May 2. F. J. Perry scored his fifth successive victory in the English hard court teftriis championship at Bournemouth to-day. Miss K. Stammers retained her title. Critics express the opinion that Perry is as strong as ever. He played almost flawlessly and volleyed terrifically, Austin, although defeated, was in good form, especially in the second set. Results are:— Women's singles:—Semi-finals: Miss Stammers defeated Mme. Henrotin 6—2, 6—2; Senorita Lizana defeated Mrs. King 6—4, I—6, <s—l. Final: Miss Stammers beat Senorita Lizana 7—5, 7—5. Men's singles:—final: Perry beat Austin 6—2, B—6, 6—3. Men's doubles:—Semi-final: Malfroy and Stedman (N.Z.) defeated Wilde and Harre 2—6, 4—6, 6—3, 7—5, 6—3. Final: Hughes and Tuckey beat Malfroy and Stedman 4—6, 6—2, 9—7, 6—l.
