Stratford Wins Julian Cup.
ANNUAL.REPORT PRESENTED.
'• Stratford again proved successful in retaining the Julian Cup, and Were runners-up in the Duff Cup competition, stated the report to the annual meeting of the Taranaki Football Association at Stratford last night. There were six senior and three junior- teams inlaying during the season, including the newly-formed Hawcra and Manaia. teams, the report continued. Thistle won the Duff Cup and were runners-up in . the Julian Cup. Hawera team won the Chinese Cup. The junior grade competition was Won by Waitara. Manawa.tu again withdrew from the triangular contest, leaving it to be decided between, Wanganiii and Taranaki. Wanganui won Contest on the goal average over two patches played.
