THEY ALL RESIGNED.

Quaint Ways Of French Politicians. TENTH GOVERNMENT FALLS. Press Association —Copyright. Paris, Jan. 22. M. Herriot and five of his Radical colleagues to-day resigned from the Cabinet, whereupon the Prime Minister, M. Pierre Laval, also resigned. M. Laval refused President le Brun's invitation to form a new Cabinet, declaring that he had never sought office but had accepted it as a duty to the country, M. Bouisson, President of the Chamber, also declined. M. le Brun will continue consultations with other political leaders to-day. M. Bonnet, one of the retiring Radical Ministers, is mentioned as Prime Minister, but it is widely believed that all attempts to form a party Government will fail and that M. le Brun will eventually be compelled to call in M. Laval again. M Laval’s was the tenth French Government to fall since the elections in May, 1952.
