Club competitions have not been advanced very fur. because of the weather, excepting the scaled handicap pairs competition, which is now creating much interest. There were no mid-week prunes in the central division shield bowling competition this week because of the tournament at New Plymouth. Avon members are now engaged in (in!) competition matches.
