JAPANESE FOREIGN SPOKESMAN CONDEMNS PRESS Press Association—Copyright Tokio, May 1. The Foreign Office spokesman said today the Japanese public was being gulled and misled by frequent false propaganda in the guise of news from foreign agencies, especially American, via the Japanese Press, against which Mr. K. Hirota, Minister for Foreign Affairs, will request the prefectural governors at a meeting on May 3 to warn the people.
