AIR PILOTS TRAINED
TOTAL OF 113 FOR YEAR ENDED MARCH 31. Aero clubs of the Dominion trained 113 pilots during the year ended March 31 as against 95 in the previous year. Canterbury headed the list with 22 pilots with A licenses, Auckland second with 19 and Otago third with 12. Detailed returns, with the corresponding figures for last year are: —Canterbury, 22 (3); Auckland, 19 (18); Otago, 12 (13); Wellington, 11 (ID; Western Federation, 11 (15); Wairarapa, 11 (14); Southland, 11 (8); Hawke’s Bay, 8 (9); Marlborough, G (3); lest Coast (South Island) United, 2 (1).
