OPENING TOMORROW COMPETITION MATCHES IN CENTRAL DIVISION. The junior Ru'gby competitions In the central division will open to-mor-row (Thursday) when the first games of the first rounds will be played_ The game at Victoria Park will he between United Old, Boys and Eltham juniors. A third grade game will apo be played between United Olci boys and Midhirst. Stratford junior will meet Inglewood at Inglewood and Stratford Thirds will play S.T.H.S. at the high school grou'nd. There win be matches in several of

ADVICE RECEIVED TO-DAY,
Advice was received to-day by the chairman of the Central Division junior executive, of the Tariki junior team's withdrawal from the competition. Thus the number of teams will be reduced to seven and Midhirst will have the bye to-morrow. PRIMARY SCHOOL RUGBY. The first of the primary school competition Rugby football matches in Central Taranaki will be played on Friday. The organiser for the central group, Mr. R. L. Hancock, announces the following draw, all matches to be played at 3.15 p.m; Senior A. May 3, Stratford A v. Eltham A. at Eltham; return match to be arranged. Senior B. May 3: Stratford B v. Toko, at Stratford; Stratford Convent v. Midhirst, at Midhirst. May S: Stratford if v. Midhirst, at Stratford; Stratford Convent v. Toko, at Toko. May 32: Midhirst v. Toko, a.t Midhirst; Stratfoil’d v. Strut fon. 1 .Convent, at Stratford. Tile second round will follow the completion of the first, and travelling teams in .the first round will play at home in the second.
