SHOW BUILDINGS j A meeting of far-reaching importj ance to Stratford has been called for ! tomorrow (Wednesday) evening when i a gathering of citizens will be held in j the Borough Chambers to consider I ways and means of securing buildings j for the Stratford Poultry and Winter • Show Association.

| The meeting has been called by the I president (Mr. Max Gernhoefer) and j the Mayor (Mr. J. W. McMillan) will

I preside. • J The association has been in exist- | ence for over 10 years, and during that j time its show has risen to a commandj ing position in Taranaki. It has car- | ried on mainly through the courtesy jof Messrs. Kleeman and Bishop, | whoso buildings will be available ! again this year, but not in the future.

j So that the association is faced with { the problem of securing a new “home” j and it is to the advantage of Stratford to see that this is provided to | keep the association alive and main- ! tain an invaluable asset to the town.
